Portfolio
My name is Taisia Bolsova
I am an international student-athlete from Spain who delves into stories through words and visuals. Currently, I’m studying Communication with a concentration in Media and a minor in Photography at Southeastern Louisiana University, where I also work as a Staff Reporter for The Lion’s Roar, working towards becoming a Photography Editor. In addition, I’m a member of the university’s tennis team, balancing my athletic pursuits with my love for media and storytelling.

What Separates me from Others
I am passionate about philosophy, and I’ve learned to apply it in my daily life. Nietzsche showed me that when you live like a superhuman and accept the eternal return as something positive, you begin to enjoy your life and your actions. I never leave things for the next day; I always do them when they need to be done. I hate wasting time, and I love being productive in every aspect of my life—at work, in school, in my sport, everywhere.

I am always open to learning new things and working with new people. I am competitive and an excellent coworker who tries to encourage others to achieve their goals and become better every day. I am also proactive; as a former coworker once told me, “Take the risk and make a mistake—every mistake can be repaired.”
